who we are

When you sign up or use postrare we may collect:

• Your LinkedIn profile URL and publicly available profile information
• Your job title, company, and industry
• Stories, voice notes, and text responses you submit through our forms
• Feedback you provide on content we produce for you
• Basic usage data such as when you access the service

why we collect it

We collect this data solely to provide the postrare service; specifically to understand your professional voice and create LinkedIn content that sounds like you. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the service you signed up for.

your stories are yours

The stories and content you share with us belong to you. We use them to write your posts. We do not sell them, share them with third parties, or use them to train AI models without your explicit permission.

third party services

We use a small number of trusted third party services to operate postrare:

• Google — for account login and data storage
• Anthropic — to generate content using AI
• Tally — to collect your responses
• Vercel — to host the website

Each of these services has their own privacy policy and handles data in accordance with GDPR where applicable.

linkedin data

If you connect your LinkedIn account or share your LinkedIn profile with us, we may access publicly available profile information such as your name, headline, job title, and posts. We use this solely to improve the quality of content we produce for you.

how long we keep your data

We retain your data for as long as you use the service. If you ask us to delete your account and data we will do so within 30 days. To request deletion email hello@postrare.com.

your rights under GDPR

If you are based in the UK or EU you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to how we process your data
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format

We use only essential cookies required to operate the service. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
